Temporary Seasonal Nursery Assistants Needed

We are looking for several seasonal Nursery Assistants to join us over the busy Spring period, working a minimum of 3 days a week for up to 6 months. 

This role would suit a hardworking individual, including school leavers or those preparing to go on to further education. 

We are a busy, expanding, modern Production Nursery, growing over 1000 varieties of plants on site, which are then sold at our Plant Centre.  

  Key Duties 

• Loading and unloading stock 
• Weeding, pruning, and feeding 
• Cleaning, grading, and labeling stock ready for dispatch 
• Other nursery-related tasks 

Your Capabilities  

• Able to operate in a fast-paced environment and complete tasks in a timely manner 
• Comfortable working inside and outside in varied weather conditions 
• Motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team 
• A keen interest in plants 
• Excellent communication skills 
• Flexible with working hours 
• May be required to work at the Plant Centre when necessary 
• This is a physically demanding role. You must be able to lift, push, and pull trolleys throughout the day.
